Brief Historical Summary of our team: Ritmos de Mi Perú
Our dance group's early beginnings was founded on January 16 ,1998 in the great county of Los Angeles, California. The group's name takes pride of its creation by our dance instructor and manager Elizabeth Garibaldi after generating a dance ensemble for various performing projects promoting the Peruvian cultural pride.
The need to diffuse the Peruvian talent throughout the U.S. made our team, what it is today. Obtaining various National and community awards for best folklore dance group. Ritmos de Mi Perú takes great pride and makes great efforts to continue its mission to maintain its heritage imprint on American grounds.
Presently, "Ritmos de Mi Perú" resides in Denver, Colorado. Providing dedication in offering lessons, seasonal workshops and professional performances. Our academy guides you in exploring and embracing the rich rhythms of Perú.

Elizabeth Garibaldi :
Born October 16, Lima, Peru. Started her dance performing career in the Afro Peruvian arts from the age 3. Elizabeth has been dancing for over 25 years and teaching for the past 20 years. A Graduate of Tourism Studies from the Central University of Lima Peru, she transition her life career in the performing arts at the Greater Los Angeles community in California .
Moved to Colorado in 2000 to establish her academy "Ritmos de Mi Peru Folk Dance Group. to serve the Denver community. Presently, as owner and dance instructor of the Garibaldi Dance Studio she is happy to welcome all future students that are enthusiastic in exploring the cultural dances of Perú.

Moises has years of dance instructing with extensive artistic background in various dance genres imparting an array of skills to everyone. Moises continues to excel and contribute joy in teaching dances to all ages.
